The G5RV is fine as long as you accept it is a compromise and that it was
intended for the old bands. I used for a while and it is a good solid
deisgn but it is master of nothing.

The old advice remains trye. Put up a dipole as long as you can make it.
Feed it with ladder line and tune it with a balanced tuner. You will
probably need a tuner for the G5rv anyway. Favourite lengths for the top of
a ladder fed dipole is 135 feet or 102 feet.
