An example of software that did not want to install under Win2k was
version 6 of Calendar Creator. Under XP it installs and runs just fine.
On the other hand, Roxio CD Creator 4.x was fine under Win2k (at least
as fine as it can get), but for XP Roxio wants you to buy an upgrade for
$50 or so. The built-in CD burning feature in XP does work, but is very
awkward for making disk copies.

There are other examples, but these two come to mind from recent
experience.

Hi, Peter and others.

< XP runs some software that did not run under Win2k, but other software
that was ok for Win2k does not run under XP! >

That was one of my original questions, that started this thread. Could
you tell me which programs? I still don't have any examples.
