Thanks for the reply Marg. I don't have the option to move the AGP card,
since the board I have only has one slot it will fit in. However, in doing
further research, I found a forum at:
http://www.sysopt.com/userreviews/mboards/reviewhtml/Lucky_Star_5MVP3.html
where it appears this is a common problem with a cheap MB. I think I might
just replace the MB myself. It don't look like it would be that hard to do.
Lesson - you get what you pay for. ;-)

This only applies if you get no video, ie: no black DOS screen, no memory
count, etc
Hazarding a guess, (I'm not an expert) but because this sounds like
something that happened to me one time when I was building a computer
system...I would say it was the video card...you said it doesn't post, no
beeps at all?? Well that's also what happened to me..and I thought that if
there was something wrong with the video adapter, it would beep like
crazy...however, I moved the silly thing to another slot, turned it on, and
it booted right up!
Of course, if it was cooked, it might do the same thing, just refuse to do
anything...
