or type any numbers off the modem into a search engine and you might
find some info on the speed of the modem.
You might look for clues in the number string like "28, or 33" as a clue
to the speed.

I found an old modem and before I throw it out I would like to know what
speed it is. I have checked the part 68 ID search but all it tells me is
that it is made by Aceex Corp in Taiwan. Other than putting it in a
computer is there a way to find out its speed?
