I am trying to upgrade PC with a new mobo/processor and HDD. I am using a
WIN ME startup diskette to boot to an A: prompt.
When I initiate the fdisk command all appears to go well - then the
keyboard locks up. This occurs at various stages of the fdisk process. I
have repeated the process over a dozen times without being able to format
the new HDD. The sys is a PIII 933 Intel 815EA mobo with 128mg RAM and an
IBM Deskstar 60 gig HD. I'm stumped!
