I have a Toshiba Satellite Pro laptop, model 420CDS. Everything was working
fine; it was turned off one day and turned on a few days later, but now the
screen was dead. After hooking up a monitor, the pc boots fine and works
normally.
Are there any diagnostics available to determine if I have a bad screen or a bad
card? Due to it's age (about 5 years old) and speed (P100, 28.8 modem), it's
not worth the repair shop route for repairs. Running WIN95. Nothing wrong
shows up in the device manager screen within control panel\system properties.
