I received some good advice from the list a week ago about my K7VZA
motherboard and Savage4 graphics card and decided to implement it that
night.
I hit the power button on my PC and it powered on for about 5 seconds or so
and then shut off!
What could be going on?
I removed everything off the board (except the ram) and pulled the
motherboard out of the case.
I made sure that nothing was grounding it out and refastened the board to
the case. It is a combination of metal screws and the plastic widgets that
attach the board to the case, but I can't imagine that would have anything
to do with it.
Could my power supply have gone bad?
How can I check it without some kind of tester?
Thanks.
