Quantum (and model no.), or  Generic Type 47 Disk Drive, or just Disk
Drive. If one or the other of latter, can exact name be restored? Does
name make a difference in performance, or is this just a matter of
aesthetics?


  Hi Demetri:

     It doesn't affect performance, but if it bugs you and you're
confident with using Regedit then do a search for Generic Type 47 and
replace the value with your drive's name.
