I am in the process of upgrading my Ram and have come across an issue that may or may not be true.

I was told that the PC133, High Density, CAS 3, 4 Layer RAM will not work in the AMD Athlon systems and that I will need to purchase CAS 2, 6 Layer RAM.

This is being told to me by the company that I am thinking of buying from and I'm not sure if they are just trying to get more money from me or if this is on the up and up.

Thanks for any help you can offer.
