Go to:

http://premiersupport.dell.com/us/en/Filelib/index.asp?nav=Downloads

And add your Laptop's Service Tag number (if you do
not have that info on sticker underneath laptop, you
can find it in the BIOS) and 'Downloads' under
"tools".

Select your OS at the next page. Page that follows
provides drivers specifically for your system. You
will want to look in the Audio section....

Before installing any files downloaded for Audio, you
might want to look at Device Manager on your laptop.
Make sure there are no conflicts (yellow question
marks, if memory serves) on the PCI Audio device. If
so, delete the item before installing drivers.

Hope this helps. These are quick and dirty
instructions, but should gtet you pointed in the right
direction.

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
