Bea, Your system is too old to be SCSI so it's IDE. Here are a couple of articles that may help you further understand the issue if you so choose. I need to upgrade to a larger hard drive and to not know if I have EIDE or SCSI. Is there some code that tells me? Where do I look? I have an older system (mid 1990's) 486/50 with a 520 meg hard drive. I do not need a lot of graphics, but need space for programs. Thanks.
