Dear Toilet Partition Queen:
I always wondered about toilet partitions.
Why don't they extend all the way to the floor?
Why don't they extend up to the ceiling?
Worse yet, sometimes there are big open joints that make privacy a joke.
Where I work, the inside of one of the stalls is visible to anyone
standing at the sink to wash hands. It is embarrassing to the person
washing hands as well as to the person sitting in the stall. And it is
the same in the bathrooms above and below it on other floors of the
building (a modern building).
My cousin Estelle says it is the same in the ladies' room.
Toilets should have more privacy than that.
