We had a turkey that actually did die that way.  I always thought people
were kidding when they told of it till it actually happened to us.  Ruth

My pal's wife in AZ grew up on a turkey farm out there, and says the
turkeys were so goddam stupid that when it rained, they would look up at
the sky with their mouths open and drown.  And you couldn't run them over
with a car?
