Haven't taken the time to work up the history of strippers, since I'm still
on the linseed oil trail... Seriously -- the contractors love it. It is
much more manageable than peelaway, and so far has not had the adverse
effects. I would like to hear from others about this product.

I saw a fairly impressive demo of this product, which was done in
conjunction with our Masonry Repair Training Course in Dallas earlier this
year. I also spent some time talking chemistry with the principles of this
Company, while altering our own with a bottle of Jack Daniels later that
day.
While on the face of it, it seemed to be a relatively unremarkable
solvent-borne paint stripper, the results reportedly being obtained by good
contractors are remarkable, indeed. On one of the projects we are involved
with, a very large quantity of this material was used and the contractor
finished the job ahead of schedule. Results in the areas I viewed were
quite good, in this case over a cement plaster substrate.
As for adverse effects, the main one I would be concerned with is the
handling and disposal issue related to the use of hazardous materials.
