Hello All,

One of our students is a ham, KB7NLA. He has a Yaesu FT-847 which is equipped with the voice synthesizer but which he bought with no other thought at the time of accessibility. Now he is curious as how to make it more accessible and/ or computer control it.

Are any of you on the list using this radio and, if so, are you computer controlling it? If you are, what software packages are you using? How speech friendly are they?

Thank you very much for your assistance. Mike and I will definitely appreciate your inp[ut. 73
Kevin, K7RX
