Hi,
I recently set up an HP Laserjet 1200 which is a similar model. Did you
pull out that short extension from top front of the printer that the printed
pages lay on when they come out? I feel that this little extension could
have been made longer and it's made a little cheaply but it's better than
not having it extended or not having it.
