I recently pieced together a system from new & used parts. The 1GHz TBird
(B) CPU reports as ~757MHz during bootup and in Win2K Admin Tools. I tried
"JumperFree" setting and jumpered at 10.0x multiplier on 100MHz clock. What
are the proper voltage settings for this CPU, and how / why does it report
as 757 instead of 1000 MHz? The CPU has 1GHz printed on its surface.

Win2K Pro with SP1, Asus A7V mobo - Rev 1.04, 256MB matched RAM (CL2, PC133
single stick Crucial, not x75x p/n), PCI sound and NIC, Viper 770 AGP at 2x
(32MB running NVidia ref drivers).

Thanks!
~Martin
