If I can think back to high school biology, ummmm 26 years ago LOL, I
recall my teacher saying, when he stomach growls, the sound is from the
stomach walls rubbing against each other. But who knows if that is
correct or not. And my memory could be foggy too, after all that was
over a 1/4 of a century ago! And college biology, they never brought
that up, they must have figured we already learned it in high school. =o]
And on another note, don't think any question is a stupid question. If
you don't know, then ask. =o] The only stupid questions are the ones
that never get asked.
