Hi Susan,
To answer your question, several assumptions must be made:
1. PM is being used as your partition manager.
2. You do not intend to use a RAID array.

Assuming affirmative for the above,

Disk 0 - 30G master

C: 2.0G /W98 FAT32 - primary (existing)
/etc 4.5G /Linux (existing)
D: 2.5G /Millen. FAT32 - extended logical part.
E: 2.5G /W2k NTFS (keep to minim.install and use as Backup if
you intend to use W2k as your main o/s
F: 18.5G /Program Applications FAT32 (Install all your non-
essential o/s applications here).

Disk 1 - 40G -slave

G:/ 3.0G/W2K NTFS (may want to use as server later -
                 keep on seperate hdd)
E:/ 10.0G/W2kPgm Files NTFS (Install all non-essential o/s
                 W2k applic here)
F:/ 27.0G/ FAT32 (whatever you want-- I use for backing up
                  an o/s main folders. (WINNT/ Win32)

Just my $.02 worth.
Some suggest starting with a small (500mb) FAT16 partition as C:/primary so
as to be able to install utility programs such as PM and DI4.0/Ghost 6.5,
but if you are going to have W98 (not as your main o/s) than it can serve
this purpose. If you do intend to use W98 as a main o/s, consider putting a
small primary boot partition as Fat16 with Dos6.2

Notice that I do not have any Linux partitions on hdd1. Its up to you do
decide where Linux should go.
You may want one on hdd1.

God Bless and have fun.
