Windows XP did away with the protocol Net BEUI. When you have XP set up ok
networking, it offers to make a setup disk to run on your other machines so
they can communicate with it properly, it is all automatic. I would check
MS to see if all your hardware is supported first.

Subject: Network Win98 and XP
I posted problems getting two computer network to work. Finally got it to
work using NetBEUI, when TCP/IP not work. If upgrade one of the two Win98
computers to XP, can still use NetBEUI? If not, will have problems I had
with Win98, trying to get TCP/IP to work?
