I did the suggestions with reserving the ISA IRQ´s and DMA´s, same story...
Works with WIN98 but not with XP Home. This past weekend I backed up,
reformated and installed XP Porfessional and it works fine with only one
exception, the ACPI BIOS calls upon a used memory space somewhere, or so it
says in the log when I boot, but everything works great. I will just
disable services I don´t need and live with this arrangement. Just a
thought though, does anyone know where all the hardware settings are in XP´s
registry? I read in this column about how to have a system ready to clone
into a new box ready to detect fresh and install the hardware, all one has
to du is delete this information. I thought I would try this on the backup
I saved to see if this would sort things out. Thank you!
