What OS are you running? You have a lot going on. Do you have all the
program, device driver, chip set, and MOBO BIOS updates? What was the last
thing you added? Two NIC cards can cause problems. So can sound cards. Some
video drivers require the complete uninstall of the old drivers first. I had
similar problems, and finally updated to Windows 2000 Pro. Wiped the hard
drive clean and reinstalled everything, lots of work, but now I know it was
worth it. I also learned a lot. It may be over kill for a home computer, but
it is rock solid. I haven't had to reboot in over 2 months! ( I have rebooted
because of adding/deleting hardware, software, etc.) If you decide to upgrade
to Win2k, make sure all your hardware and programs will work w/Win2k. Visit
MS web site and check the HCL list (hardware compatibility list). I know you
needed more to do. Good Luck! Wish I could help more.
