I have a Creative Labs soundcard taken from a 486DX66 which I can't
identify for the purposes of identifying the driver and possibly
jumper settings needed to get the computer I'm putting it in to to
recognise it.

There appears to be no ID number of any kind anywhere on the board.

Is there a diagnostic prog I could run under DOS or Win3.11 which
would interrogate the board and tell me what it is, or can anyone
identify it from the following description:

It has a chip which I think bears the Ensoniq logo, a kind of
streamlined 'ESS' Underneath this it has:
ES688FC
D505 VE 60609
(P) 4, 214, 125 (C) - the brackets are circles.

There are 4 sockets:
Secondary IDE
Panasonic
Mitsumi
Sony (which is a smaller connector than the others)

The CD-ROM drive which came with it is a CD220E 4speed.

Any pointers to getting this soundcard set up would be much
appreciated.

Best wishes, Neil Taylor
