For my children, I strongly oppose vaccinations. But then, I take care of my
children. Some people do not, or can not. It seems that for as long as
people are going to be in situations where their overall health is poor, the
risk to the individual which is taken with vaccinations is worth affording a
majority of persons the benefit of immunity.
The only alternative to vaccines that I know of is good nutrition (diet of
mostly whole foods), regular exercise, maintaining a healthy spine through
yoga or chiropractic, and using homeopathy, chiro, and conventional medicine
as appropriate in the event of disease. Most people can't or won't bother
with this. Futher, I can't see the government trying to mandate good
nutrition and daily exercise for children. :-(
Plus, parents have to realize that all children are mortal, vaccinated or
otherwise.
