I have really enjoyed the political discourses on this group. I am not
surprised by any of it but I also don't believe all of it either. A wise man
once told me that the political pendulum never stops. We will swing to the
right and then back to the left. This is a very simplistic view of the
situation, but I am a simple person. I guess it is time for us to swing back
to the right, but let us never become silent.

I see men and women of all races and nationalities playing games.
Capitalists (gamemasters) know we are easily duped by Madison Avenue types
and they take advantage of us every chance they get. John Lennon said it
best in his song A Working Class Hero:

As soon as you're born they make you feel small
By giving you no time instead of it all
Till the pain is so big you feel nothing at all
A working class hero is something to be
A working class hero is something to be

They hurt you at home and they hit you at school
They hate you if you're clever and they despise a fool
Till you're so fucking crazy you can't follow their rules
A working class hero is something to be
A working class hero is something to be

When they've tortured and scared you for twenty odd years
Then they expect you to pick a career
When you can't really function you're so full of fear
A working class hero is something to be
A working class hero is something to be

Keep you doped with religion and sex and TV
And you think you're so clever and classless and free
But you're still f**king peasants as far as I can see
A working class hero is something to be
A working class hero is something to be

There's room at the top they are telling you still
But first you must learn how to smile as you kill
If you want to be like the folks on the hill
A working class hero is something to be
A working class hero is something to be

If you want to be a hero well just follow me
If you want to be a hero well just follow me

The rule makers know this and they make every effort to distract us from
what they are really doing to the planet. Hoarding natural resources and
passing laws to protect land ownership rights has been going on for
centuries and is not exclusive to the United States. Call them Republicans,
Democrats or anything else for that matter, it makes no difference. Someone
will always be in control. Overall people are as easily led by their
emotions and they will follow the herd rather than stand up for what is
right.

If you want everyone else to follow your lead and you somehow amass enough
people behind you to be a threat to the game, they will surely kill you. If
you fashion
yourself to be some kind of harbinger of the truth then step up to the
cross, for they will crucify you for disturbing their game.

Jennifer Nelson
