Answer IMO is NO.
ECC is important if you are doing days of analytical calculations and
accuracy is upmost importance.
Also if you are running a critical system and any shutdown may affect the
security of our nation!
Seriously, ecc memory is error checking memory, which by its name means it
will be a little slower, but supply more stability and prevent ozone
glitches from causing lockups.
I have an Abit SE6, which i believe does not allow ecc memory. It's one of
the best mobo's.
