Have you rebooted? It was necessary for me to do that when I installed mine.
I called Linksys, good support, long wait, but that was all it needed. Since
I rarely turn my machine off, it didn't occur to me to do that.

Spothwest Bell DSL (WireSpeed) modem. I set the router according to
the insall instructions. Entered Username password, set it for DHCP,
enabled pc to obtain ip address, also set for PPPoE as this is what SWBell
uses.
