Install Win98 first and get it set up, then put the CDROM for Win2000 in
the drive. It will autorun and ask you if you want to install. Say "yes",
and choose the clean install to a different partition than Win98 is in. The
installation will very nicely set up the dual boot for you, and the next
time you start the machine, assuming all goes well, you'll get a boot menu
asking which of the two OS's you want to start.
Don't know if this works with ME. Don't know if I'd fool with ME anyway-
haven't heard much good about it. And, when you get right down to it, ME is
the antithesis of Win2000 so to speak. From what I've heard about ME, it is
aimed at the type of user that's on the low end of the "computer astuteness
scale" relative to your average NT/Win2k user.
