Hello,
I have two problem computers at the moment. The first is a P100 mobo SI54P AIO mobo with a P100 chip in it. This machine regularly hangs at boot up before the memory check. Usually I can use the CMOS reset jumper to get past this and redetect the HDDs etc and everythings works fine. However I decided to (in my infinite wisdom) have a fiddle around and add an old quad speed CDRom and now its proving to be impossible to get past this problem to even get into the bios.
Does anyone have any ideas - or is this mobo stuffed? Please don't say go and buy a new mobo etc as I am in my last year of a university degree and this machine is destined for the family network (to keep the kids off my only slightly newer machine!)
Cheers Nicki
