I have had that problem a number of times, I was using the preview
version of IE 6, I reformatted and stayed at IE 5.5 and I have had that
problem since

Get the latest virus definitions to use with NAV 2001 and do a complete
scan. I have seen this problem associated with virus activity. If that
fails
we have also seen this problem with failing ATX power supplies.
