Thanks Joel,
Actually I didn't mention that these two drives have beeb working perfectly
on the sec. IDE controller for months. The problem happened when I set them
both to enable DMA. That's when they vanished. Anyway I solved the problem
by going into DOS and restoring a Windows Sys. registry backup from a couple
of days ago.
