Maybe it is a permission problem.
Does the Client have permission to access the server printer? Remove the
permission and then re set it up.
Next thing I would try is to remove the printer from the client...clean it
out of the registry.
And then start over..reinstall the driver. If it is a corrupt network file
on the client then you are going to have to find the culprit and replace it.
When reinstalling the driver whenever you have a warning about overwriting
a file .....do so
