G'Day All,

Having a read through materials about Arafat on Z-Net and MERIP, it seems
that
Arafat is regarded by rank-and-file Palestinians as a colluder with the
US/Israel
and no longer representative of Palestinian aspirations.

This being the case, how does Arafat hold power in the PLO and Palestinian
Authority?
Which Palestinians support Arafat and why?
