I was one of those kids who had a "crippled" chip on his shoulder---always
had to prove "i could do it". Add to that the fact that 1) I loved "boy"
activities, like blowing stuff up
and 2) I was uncoordinated as all get-out (aren't we all?). It was a
recipe for disaster. I have an idea our 3 year-old, Alex, has the same
tendencies. Scary, but at least he's got good coordination.
