    Now that is funny!!

    I rarely wear ties. The advamtage of being a professor is that the
slouchier you dress, the more eccentic they think you are. I learned how to
tie Windsors a long time ago and taught my son also.

    BTW, did I tell everyone that mys son, David, has promised to take me on
a Civil War battlefield tour in the DC area on the condition I get in shape
and lose 20 pounds.
It is a combination retirement  present and an incentive to get into shape.
