I am allergic to the whey proteins but apparently not to casein. I would
guess, but it's only a guess, that the "skim milk powder" may be whey. Many
goods contain that product, presumably because it's cheap and adds
something. I suggest you might want to refine your testing a bit to see if
you can isolate whey from casein. I'm under the impression, but don't know
for a certainty, that casein is more often the allergen than whey.
Therefore, on the balance of probabilities, I would stay away from anything
with casein or caseinate on the label.
BTW, I have been staying away from Arrowroot cookies because of the
labelling. I like them even though I have been out of diapers for decades
<g>. They are particularly delicious with (non-dairy) melted semi-sweet
chocolate squares/chips on top! I've found some substitutes but they aren't
the same.
