** New Ticket to Work Publications Available On-Line ***

The Social Security Administration (SSA) has recently released proposed
regulations for the new Ticket to Work Program. SSA is accepting
comments on these regulations until February 26, 2001. To assist
individuals and organizations in providing comments to SSA, the RRTC on
State Systems and Employment at the Institute for Community Inclusion in
Boston, has just published two publications, both of which are available
on-line.

1. Tools for Inclusion: The Proposed Ticket to Work Regulations- This
publication is designed to assist people with disabilities in providing
comment to SSA. A general overview of the Ticket to Work Program and
comment process are provided, along with analysis of specific issues.
This publication may also be of interest to professionals, service
providers, etc. This publication is available in text and pdf formats at:

http://www.childrenshospital.org/ici/publications/text/twwiia.html

2. Policy Brief: Proposed Regulations Implementing the Ticket to Work
and Self-Sufficiency Program
This publication provides a comprehensive, detailed summary of the
proposed regulations, including discussion of the impact on social
security beneficiaries, and requirements and payment systems for service
providers under the Ticket to Work Program. This publication is
available in text and pdf formats at:

http://www.childrenshospital.org/ici/publications/text/pb6text.html

If multiple copies of these publications are needed, organizations or
agencies are welcome to print copies off the Institute's web site, and
duplicate them.

If you are unable to obtain these publications off the Institute's web
site, a limited supply of paper copies of these publications are
available from the Institute's Publications Office. However, please
realize it will take approximately two weeks for orders to be filled.
(Publications cannot be faxed). The Publications Office can be reached
