I think the CPR issue is a "straw man" in this specific case. Anorexia is a
chronic condition with some most delicate underlying issues. If the student
in question is not taking substantial measures to ameliorate her condition, I
feel the college has no oblligation to accomodate her. This does not even
address the "church vs. state" issue here.

In the best of all ideal worlds, everyone should know CPR. That is a given.
But in the real world there are things like HIV, AIDS & numerous others
conditions one can contract, not to mention the legal ramifications.
