Also, Kathy,
Look for therapeutic riding programs in your area.  You won't get the
intense physical/ occupational therapy but, you can learn a fun skill that
will keep you in shape.  The therapeutic riding program Horses for the
Handicap in our area is very reasonably priced at $10 a session.
