Ooh, late night spas... that sounds nifty!
Unfortunately, I believe I have already been vetoed on a
trip to St. Petersburg due to the day-long train ride
just to get there. We will be based with our hostess
(friend of my travel mate) in Vladimir, and we're
spending a day or two in Moscow. I've also been told to
bring my swimsuit in case we go to the bath
house/bathing cottage or some sort of thing. As far as
I can tell, it's a cottage on the water where they go in
summer for swimming etc.
Thanks for the advice!

Oh, and Mary -
I was just reading about food last night. It seems as
though I eat many of those ingredients already, but I'm
sure they put them together quite differently. I can't
quite get used to the notion of caviar being on a menu
in any restaurant I could afford to enter! My friend
has already discussed the need for strategic hydration
due to the state of public restrooms. Once, instead of
asking me if I was excited about the trip, she asked if
I was scared yet!
