I do the same a lot of the time, Ken. For the life of me I can't button my
right shirt sleeve, so I try to button it beforehand and then wriggle my
hand through. Works ok until I get a sleeve that's too tight. In that case
I ask Laura to help. If she's not available I'll wait 'til I get to work
and ask a friend. I used to be embarassed, but I figured embarassment was
pointless. If you ask the same people for help then they already understand
the deal and don't make a whoop over it.
Dressing the boy wouldn't be a problem if I could do it about an hour later,
it's just that I'm so spastic for that first hour or so. Anybody else have
problems being really tight in the morning, but loosening up as the day
wears?

if it is buttons, i'll tell you what i did for myself. i switched to polos
mostly and when i do wear a button up, i button up enough the night befor
that i put it on like a polo and with that much done at least the holes are
lined up and 2 or 3 are all the buttons remaining.

info for parents who have disabilities.
