Preservation and Construction Manager
   The Minnesota Historical Society seeks a person to plan, organize, and
direct the historic sites department’s restoration,
repair, and development program, as well as its preventative maintenance and
security programs. Qualifications include B.A.
plus eight to 10 years’ experience in historic preservation, construction
management, building management, or related field;
extensive knowledge and training in the preservation of historic buildings;
excellent financial management and analysis skills,
with five years of managing budgets over $750,000; experience working with
architects, contractors, wide variety of
technicians and professionals; ability to analyze, develop, schedule, and
implement multiple complex projects; willingness to
travel; excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent salary and
