Can somebody explain to me step by step what are the changes to be
made in BIOS in order to  upgrade my 8.4 GB HD to  30 GB?

I have done just that with a tmc mobo with PII 266 MHZ running win98
but
had to upgrade  my motherboard's bios first, and works just fine.
