Sorry about the previous message - it got away on me.
1.The sounds under control panel are not out of the ordinary.
2. The motherboard is a Legend QDI - Excellent Series - Intel 440EX Pentium
II processor based motherboard.
3. I suppose it could be a TSR except I closed them all down right to
Explorer and the beeping was still going on - so I doubt that would be the
problem. Also remember that this beeping started with Windows only loaded
after a complete re-format of the drive and absolutely nothing else but
Windows 98 loaded.
