I've read that anything will ripen quickly if placed in a bag with a
banana.
There's a scientific explanation for it, but I don't remember that
part. ;)

Try it with just one tomato and see what happens.  It won't taste as
good as
vine-ripened in the sun, but nothing else will, either!
