If you don't already, you might consider using the Sonicare toothbrush -
sonic waves. It blows plaque off the teeth big time. I've been using it for
2 years. Prior to that I used a regular electric toothbrush.



if you do get this type toothbrush, i'll tell you that i was one able to
purchase replacement heads for sonicare on ebay for half the going price at
the stores.
