>Hi Gordon,
Hi Beth
> In other words, the other night I found myself in a "night club" setting, which I'd never been in, and I felt powerless to move. I found just how bad I am, in a darkened room. I had to have two people walk on each side of me going in and out. Anyone that saw me probably thought I was drunk. It's the little stupid things in life that really bug me...........
<
Hmm - what about a wheel-chair ?
- Hmm - as far as being drunk, - Ive only gotten drunk once - bout 2-3 yrs ago..
- The best thing about CP - no one knows the difference :-) (unless theyre 'close friends).
In my life right now (previous post) - i mentioned :-
"- Right now Im only starting on one of my goals - so havnt got very far as yet - I'll keep you posted."
I currently have NO/ZIP/NADA/ZILCH/NIL/ZERO/NAUGHT (any words im missing ??) social life...
Im thinking of going to a bar/pub/club etc.. in my local area - Never been to those places before..
I WAS going to go last weekend - But never got there - I walked about half-way to the area (we have a LOT of Restaurants / bars, take-aways, food-places in my area - I think its the food capital of the world..
anyway - where was I - oh yeah - I walked half way there (to the area where the bars/clubs/restaurants are) , & turned back...
This weekend / tonight - I'll re-think of going back & hopefully getting through the door. (even if im ugly, short, 'slighty' over-weight, and look like a frog. - PLUS - scared to death :-) )
<joking about the ugly bits>
- I dont expect anything to happen on the first time im there - But i just need to meet new people & get a social-life going..
Gordon..
