As a comment on goats: We used to raise dairy goats in Arkansas and I
can assure you that a "grass fed" goat is an unhappy goat. Goats are
browsers like deer and only eat grass as a last resort. Normally they
eat any type of leaves including rose bushes and poison ivy.
Goats are most happy in a forest setting with a weedy pasture to play in
and around. Alas, as goats are quite effective at de-nuding vegetation
in a hurry, one often ends up with a grassy park when they are done.
All of it about 6 feet high clearance... the distance a goat on hind
legs can reach up a tree.
