> Glenfiddich vs. Laphroaig.
Well, having, due to various health issues, had to determine that quality is more
authentic than quantity... moving from a childhood of cheap dinner wine to Black
Label beer to a few years of Thunderbird and a low night many years ago with the
saltiness of cooking Sherry, homemade dandelion & strawberry wine as well as
various pilsners, ales & stouts (I love fermenting things) and a recent bout with
Wild Turkey, meaning only that I have gone up and down a bit, I can attest that I
prefer most days Glenlivet to Glenfiddich, and having had my turn with a bottle
of Aberlour then Speyburn -- I have to say that so far I much prefer Balvenie
though can hardly afford it as a staple. If anyone has a spare Laphroaig around
I'll gladly sip it.
