Just as a basic thought, if computer "a" has full access to
the second computer, than I would believe you have a sharing
issue on computer "a". Check that the drives on computer
"a" are shared:
Double click on My Computer on the desktop. Then right
click on each drive you wish to share, clicking on 'Sharing.'
In this area you can share the drive. This is required in
order for computer "b" to be able to access computer "a".
